Setting goals is a key function in a sales CRM, as it allows the team to visualize business or group objectives and assess each member's progress based on individual or collective goals.
Goals can be assigned to members or teams and enable tracking of the following types of goals:
Lead goals
Deal goals
Quotation goals
Sales order goals
Billing goals
In this guide, we will show you how to create a goal.
1. Click on the "Goals, Tasks, Reminder" module in the left main menu

2. Click on the "Add Goal" button

3. Create a "Goal Name"

4. Select a "Goal Type"
There are two types of goal types:
Member goals
Team goals

5. Select the "Members Assigned to the Goal"
A goal can be assigned to more than one member or team.

6. Add a "Goal Description"

7. Select the "Goal Measurement"
Choose the criteria to evaluate your goal achievement. You can select between leads, invoices, won deals, quotations, or sales orders, depending on the most relevant indicator for your objective.
Leads: Number of leads created.
Quotations: Number of quoted created or quote value.
Won Deals: Number of deals won or value of won deals.
Invoices: Number of invoices or invoice value.
Sales Orders: Number of sales orders or sales order value.
NOTE: Goals are updated automatically.

8. Enter the target "Quantity" or "Value" for your goal
Enter the number of leads, deals, quotations, invoices, or sales orders needed to achieve your goal. This quantity or value will serve as a reference to measure your progress and assess goal fulfillment.

9. Add a start and end date for your goal.
Enter a start date and an end date to determine the timeframe in which progress will be evaluated.

10. Customize the goal color (optional)

11. Select a "Goal Icon" (optional)

12. Click on "Create Goal"

Tracking Goals
You can track goals in the "Goals, Tasks, Reminder" module.
By clicking on a goal, you can view its details, edit it, or delete it.

You can also monitor the status of your goals from the dashboard, as long as you have added the lead widget called "Goals."
